LO Chak-lam, who has a passion in music,
started learning Zhongruan in his secondary one. LO gives
public performances, which showed to be great successes,
in many concerts in Hong Kong. In 1998, LO, as the soloist
in a concerto, and his school orchestra was awarded the
first prize in the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows. Also,
he was the 1st runner up in the 53rd Hong Kong Schools Music
Festival in the Zhongruan competition (Advance group).
LO joined the HKJYCCO in 1997 as a Zhongruan player, and
then became the principle of the Zhongruan section afterwards.
He is now also the concertmaster of the HKJYCCO. LO has
visited cities in China, England, Japan and USA and giving
performances. |
